Nasal polyposis
Chronic sinusitis with Nasal polyposis
When nasal sprays and oral antihistamines are not affective for the control of nasal allergic symptoms such as congestion, ears pressure, postnasal mucus, facial pain, nasal pain, and decreased sense of smell, nasal steroid injection is a valuable therapeutic. We have been using intranasal steroid injections for the last 15 years, and over 5000 patients have benefitted from this therapeutic modality when they no longer respond to nasal spray and oral antihistamines. The benefits from intranasal steroid injection can last from one to six months and vary in each individual patient.
Intranasal steroid injection has minimal risks and can improve patients' quality of life.
